Learning Styles

Big Idea:
You have areas of strengths and weaknesses in the ways that you learn.

Need to Know:
What are the different learning styles?
Might there be more yet undiscovered?
What does knowing your learning style tell you?
What might be some of the benefits of knowing your learning style?

The Mission:
Understanding how you learn best is the key to unlocking your potential. When you use your strengths to help you learn, you can overcome the areas where you are not as strong. You should try to use your strengths whenever possible to demonstrate what you know. If your teacher is not teaching to your areas of strength, you can either ask your teacher for more infomation that meets your needs or you can do this for yourself.

Learning Tasks:
You can discover and explore your learning style by answering questions using the inventories or surveys on the sites I have listed below. Use the information on these sites to learn more about your strengths and weaknesses. This will help you understand more about yourself and how you learn best.

1. Complete the inventory on the first site. It is OK to use only your first name and Greenfield as your last name.
